Soltex Alkylate Fluids, Base Oils, Performance Additives, Polybutenes, and Sulfonates are useful in detergent and dispersants applications. Polybutene provides a variety of molecular weight derivative compositions that allow for application in lubricant oils (higher molecular weight) and also for motor fuels (lower molecular weight polybutene).

Dispersants and detergents for lubes and motor fuels derived from polybutene include the following benefits:
