Additives/Components

Soltex chemical additives/components include Synthetic and Non-Synthetic Basestock, high purity Acetylene Black, and Performance Additives. Additives are used to improve the performance characteristics of a material. Some additives only affect one aspect of performance; others may have multiple effects.

Synthetic basestock components include Polybutenes, Polyalphaolefins, Group I, II, III Base Oils, and Alkylates. Acetylene Black is a specialty, high purity component.
